Jeannett Meetze Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeannett Meetze of Appomattox, Virginia, born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on May 1, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her grandson Charlie Walter; her husband Walter Meetze Jr.; her daughter Carol Bowman; her son-in-law Charlie E. Bowman; her granddaughter Codi Bowman Henry; her grandson-in-law Andrew Henry; her great grandchildren, Shane Henry and Kaylee Henry; her grandson Charlie Walter Bowman; her sister-in-law Kathy Knowles; her nieces, Mary Helen Wentz (Joe) and Kathryn Stevenson; her nephew Bo Jones (Nancy); her parents, Brenda Bowman and Charles Barker; her close friend Natasha Hauser; and her friend Barbara Hughes.

As per her request, there will be no funeral and per her request, her body has been donated to science. In lieu of flowers, our family would much rather you spend your resources to make beautiful memories with your own loved ones and maybe a donation to a charity of your choice.
