He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Womack Mann and Louis Wiley Mann; and his siblings, Alice Faye Mann Doss, Nora Mae Mann, Norma Kaye Newman, Bonnie Gaye Maxwell, Wiley, Jerry, Irvin, Willie and Lee Mann.
He is survived by: his son James Douglas "Jay" Mann, Jr. (Mindy); his grandchildren, Jessica, Sarah, Lucas and Lillian; his brother Earl Mann; his sister-in-law Ann Mann; and his friend Cindy Campbell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
