It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hunt Patteson Hamilton of Appomattox, Virginia, who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Hunt Patteson may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Alvin Hamilton and Bessie Patteson Hamilton; and his wife Pearl Virginia Bryant Hamilton. He is survived by: his sons, David (Jeannie) and Dan (Caroline); and his grandsons, Jeff (Kerri) and Adam (Melisa).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (667 Court St, Appomattox, VA 24522). A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Old Herman Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (667 Court St, Appomattox, VA 24522).
