It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Ottoway Guill of Appomattox, Virginia, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann Jamerson Guill; his parents, Harry Wilson Guill and Nettie Torricelli Guill; and his brothers, Freddy Guill, J. Richard "Dick" Guill and Carlton W. Guill.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Guill of Appomattox and Connie G. Godsey (Freddy) of Appomattox; his grandchildren, Mary Ann Simpson (Jady) of Hardyville and Michael Godsey (Courtney) of Appomattox; his great grandchildren, Hayden Marshall, Beckett Godsey and Briggs Godsey; and his sister Marilyn G. Scruggs of Lynchburg.
A graveside service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Liberty Cemetery (1270 Lee-Grant Ave, Appomattox, VA 24522).
