With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Joseph Doeppe Jr. of Appomattox, Virginia, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on May 5, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Elizabeth Denson; and his son Daniel Doeppe. He is survived by: his wife Alice Stokes Doeppe; his children, George Doeppe, III (Julie) of Appomattox, Patrick Doeppe of Stanardsville, Piper Doeppe, Mason Heidt of Lynchburg and Jonathan Doeppe of Appomattox; his grandchildren, Katherine, George J. IV, Robert, Ayla, Allistair, Dylan and Aeristan; his great grandchildren, Jaiden, Cooper and Cash; his niece Jennifer Loth of Richmond; and also Kelsea Wagner of Lynchburg.
