She is survived by: her son Rev. Nelson F. Fields, Jr. (Elsie) of Portsmouth; her stepchildren, Naomi B. Stratton, James R. Bryant, Gene Bryant and Helen B. Almond; her grandchildren, Stephanie Fields, Nelson Fields, III, Lisa Stout, L. E. Fields and Monica Williams; her great grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas, Bailey, Nelson IV and Avery; her great great grandchild Aubrey; and her brother David A. Mays. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
