With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence Elaine Taylor of Appomattox, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her husband George Edward "Red" Taylor; her parents, Leah Moore and Roy Ferguson; her son Jesse James Taylor; and her brother Robert Leroy Moore.
She is survived by: her son Dwayne Edward Taylor of Appomattox; her sister DeLois Moore Kerr of Appomattox; her grandchildren, Jesse Taylor, Amanda McConnell, Zack Taylor and James Taylor; and her nieces, Denise Ayers and Sandie Brown.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (667 Court St, Appomattox, VA 24522). Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
