It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Arnold Phelps of Appomattox, Virginia, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily Blanche Moore and Enid Millard Phelps; his brothers, Elmer Phelps (Beverly) and Gerald Phelps; and his brothers-in-law, Ronnie Mitchell, Herman Evans and Dick Fortin.
He is survived by: his children, Dane Phelps (Tiffany) of Concord and Holly Phelps (Joshua Boyce) of Amherst; the mother of his children Susan Phelps; his siblings, Howard Phelps (Betty), Emily Mitchell, Patricia Evans, Linda Rogers (Danny), Bonnie Deters (Doug) and Connie Fortin; his sister-in-law Eva Phelps; his grandchildren, Farrah Phelps and Pierce Phelps; and his girlfriend Tara Morgan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
