She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Michael Freihaut; her parents, Ruth Olive Mayfield and Sherman Elmer Barr; and her brothers, Darrell Barr and Deforest Barr.
She is survived by: her son Michael Jacob Freihaut (Carol) of Appomattox; her grandchildren, Magdalena DeWease of Salisbury, MD, Amber Freihaut of Lynchburg, Trinity Freihaut of Appomattox and Jessica Freihaut of Lynchburg; and her great grandchildren, Delaney Rodriguez and Jacob DeWease.
