She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonso Hawkins, Sr. and Dorothy White Hawkins; and her siblings, Barbara Jefferson, Alphonso Hawkins, Jr. and Leroy Hawkins.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Hicks of Maryland and Michael Hicks of Maryland; her granddaughter Tierra Brooks (Elijah) of Maryland; her great grandchildren, Zoey, Zayia and Elijah Brooks; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Jean Hawkins of Lynchburg. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jesus Center (1664 Mountain Cut Rd, Appomattox, VA 24522). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
