It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Louise Jones of Appomattox, Virginia, born in Petersburg, Virginia, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Mariniak Absalon and Vincent Absalon, Jr.; her husband R. David Jones; and her son David Alan Jones. She is survived by: her daughters, Betsy J. Ballowe (Richard) of Forest and Patsy Jones-Hubert (Lee) of Richmond; and her grandchildren, Trey B. Ballowe (April), Tanya B. Wright and Rene B. Smith. She is also survived by her husband's nephew, great nieces and great nephews.
