He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Dorton; and his son Robert Dorton, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Micheal Dorton and Linda Cagan (Bill); his grandchildren, Allison Johnston, Amy Lynn Doerr and Amanda North; and his sister Rita Joyce Dorton-Morris. He is also survived by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
