With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mavis Ann Davis of Appalachia, Virginia, who passed away on February 9, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband John Davis; her daughter Carol Lane; and her granddaughters, Melissa Miller and Erica Stewart. She is survived by: her children, Mitchell Davis, Robin Benoit and Michele Stacey; her grandson Brian Miller; her siblings, Judy Needham, Marilyn Rutherford, Shelia Lipps and Nolan Morris; and her close friend Slue Foot Sue Brooks. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
