It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Sowder of Appalachia, Virginia, who passed away on August 17, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ada Sowder and Tilman Sowder; his daughters, Jennifer Myers (Wayne) and Karen Cook (Bill); his granddaughters, Kerry Klaproth, Courtney Cook and Jamie Muhle; and his great grandchild James Klaproth. He was also cherished by friends and extended family.
