He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Livesay and Rosa Livesay; his siblings, Bill Livesay, Doug LIvesay, Louise Quillen and Barbara Talbott; and his son James Ronald Livesay II (Mattie).

He is survived by: his children, Wonda Elmore (Keith) and Bonnie Miltenburger. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
