He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Lane (R. C.) of Gate City, VA and Katherine Smith (Galen) of Kingsport, TN; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lane, Carson Lane, Sierra Lane, Eric Smith and Kyle Smith; his siblings, Tom Fleenor of Gate City, VA and Lydia Hurd of Jenkinsburg, GA; and his close friend Debbie Sharp. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
