He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Maxwell Poole; and his siblings, Nellie Lou, Axley Lou, Oscar Lou, Claude Lou, Carson Lou, Christie Lou, Elizabeth Lou and Laura Lou.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Karen (Robin Dotson) of Wise; his grandchildren, Matthew Dotson (Jamie Dotson) of Wise and Sarah Dotson of Wise; his children, Norma Jean Coleman and Jimmy Ray Poole of Ohio; and his siblings, Bobby Poole and Paralee Poole. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
