She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas F. Jones, Sr. and Sibyl Johnson Jones; her brother Thomas F. Jones, Jr.; her daughter Lisa Cowan; and her former husband Jack Cowan.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Barker; her brothers, Jesse Jones (Lara) of Abingdon and Winston Jones of Carrollton, GA; her stepdaughters, Kathy Barker Denmark (Gordon) of Lexington, KY, Karen Barker Peterson (Mark) of Dublin and Molly Barker Johnston (Joe) of Findlay, Ohio; and her sister-in-law Joyce Jones. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
