He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Faye Hartley; his parents, William Hartley and Thelma Hartley; and his brothers, Gary and Ron Hartley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mimi Kulp (Matt), Kristie Hall (Craig) and Misty McGuire (Tom); his grandchildren, Michael, Pauline Kulp, Keely and McKenna McGuire; and his siblings, Joanne Craddock, Linda "Susie" Williams and James Hartley (Jane).
