With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Louise Thayer Bodling (Annandale, Virginia), born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on September 7, 2017 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Doris Rose Macy, Eula Mae Balog Holmquist, Barbara Jeanne Palmer and Phillips Loring Thayer. She is survived by: her children, Elsie and Braintree; her husband Paul F. Bodling, Jr.; her sons, Paul III (Linda), Kurt (Ann) and James (Lori); her nieces and nephews, Joanne Tardy, Barbara O'Hare, Erika Bodling, Kathy Elliot, Monica Abelli, Edward Bodling and Paul Macy; and her grandchildren, Jesse Cunningham, Aaron Bodling, Emily Brock, Kristin Bodling and Jill Bodling.

Memorial donations can be sent to the Our Savior Lutheran School Endowment Fund.
