She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Rivera Bayan and Presentacion Balubata Bayan; and her siblings, Filipina Bayan and Gil Bayan. She is survived by: her husband Edward Donovan 'Don McCoy; her siblings, Alexander Bayan (Cecille) and Erlinda Bayan; her nieces, Gracelynn Bayan and Michelle Campo (Bayan); and her goddaughter Elvie Real.

In lieu of flowers (although she did love her orchids!), the family requests donations be made to the Brain Aneurism Foundation at https://bafound.org.
