He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Padgett and Florence Padgett. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his children, Elaine Lockhart of West Virginia, Kristen Drew of Florida and Victoria Lea Hitt (Bobby) of Amissville; his siblings, Belinda Seymour (Robert) of Tappahannock, Patricia Barnett (John) of Georgia and Patrick Padgett of Texas; and his grandchildren, Ryan of Florida and Skila Mills of Florida.

The family requests that no flowers be sent and donations in Thomas' name be made to the V.F.W. Post 9835, P.O. Box 163, Warrenton Virginia 20188-0163.
