She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Spicer and Susie Spicer; and her siblings, James R. Spicer, Walter E. Spicer, Jr. and Margaret Smith.

She is survived by: her son James T. Gardner (Irene) of Winchester, VA; her sister Christine Ryan (Roger) of Rixeyville, VA; and her grandsons, Drake Gardner of Amissville and Aiden Mackey of Winchester, VA.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
