He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Joseph Lee and Nancy Lee Willison. He is survived by: his wife Cathy L. Lee of Amissville, VA; his children, Rachel Sonnek (Drew) of Bealeton, VA and Michael Allan Lee, Jr. (Rachel) of Culpeper, VA; his brother Joseph Francis Lee (Sandy) of Manassas, VA; and his grandchildren, Andy, Isabelle Sonnek, Charlotte and Julianna Lee. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
