With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Reid Hitt of Amissville, Virginia, who passed away on June 7, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David G. Reid and Edna Carwell Reid; and her husband John F. Hitt. She is survived by: her children, Beverly (Glen Burke) of Amissville and John "Bubba" (Amanda Hitt) of Amissville; and her grandchildren, Kelly Meeker (Richard), Rebecca Caldwell (Cameron) of Austin, TX, John Hitt, III (Shannon) of Culpeper, VA, Zachary Hitt (Hallie) of Culpeper, Alexis, Daniel, Mackenzie, Blake, Ariel, Logan, Mason and Lilly (Caldwell). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
