It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Horace Thompson Owens Sr. of Amissville, Virginia, who passed away on April 9, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Owens and Betty Ann Owens (Robertson); and his siblings, Harold "Mike" Owens and Patricia Weachter. He is survived by: his sons, Horace T. Owens, Jr. and Shaun Owens (Heather); his siblings, Andrew Owens, James Owens, Ronald "Ronnie" Owens, Barbara "Bobbie" Perry (Glen) and Eleanor "Jenny" Lillard; and his grandchildren, Riley Owens, Gavin Owens, Carma Owens, Courtney Owens, Athena Owens and Isaac Owens. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
