It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Dinneen Hakola of Amissville, Virginia, who passed away on April 6, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas James Dinneen and Ruth Elizabeth Yerby Dinneen; and her siblings, Thomas Dinneen, Sylvia Crutchfield and Sharon Courlas.

She is survived by: her husband David Brown Hakola; her children, Nelo A. Hakola (Amy) of Rapid City, SD and Emily V. Hakola; her siblings, Clifton Dinneen (Vicky) of Warrenton, VA, Kathleen Johnson of Alabama and Dennis Dinneen (Felicia) of Hume, VA; and her grandchildren, Evan, Connor, Mallory and Scarlett.
