He was predeceased by: his parents, Sterling E. Zehner and Irene L. Zehner (Reynolds); his former wife Naomi M. Zehner (Osborne) of Shelby; his daughter Kari Renee Zehner; his grandson Nicholas S. Zehner; and his sister-in-law Judy Zehner.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Kinsey Zehner; his children, Darren E. Zehner (Joy), Kevin D. Zehner and Daneen M. Colligan; his brothers, Charles William "Bill" Zehner (Noreen), Thomas R. Zehner and Richard S. Zehner (Linda); his grandchildren, Alesia Colligan, Michael Colligan, Gaaelya Colligan, Cherie Zehner and Alexis Zehner; and his stepdaughters, Robin Neff and Pennie Cookson. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
