It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Russell Wright (Amherst, Virginia), who passed away on April 13, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Eural Wright and Inez Coffey Wright; and his siblings, Easter Taylor, Massie Tyree and Phillip Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Pearl Wright; his children, Donna Kaye Wright-Horn (Michael), William Russell Wright, Jr. (Teresa) and Sandra Leah Wright (Dwain Lawson); his grandchildren, Tabatha Shull (WT), Dustin Wright (Monica), Makala Barsolona, Steven Barsolona, II and Bradley Wright (Shawna); his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Levi, Colton Shull, Forrest, Iris, Esther Wright, Christopher and Nico Messinger; and his siblings, Lloyd "Buddy" Wright, Ruby Edwards and Dottie Pritchett.
