With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Edwin Gibson Sr. of Amherst, Virginia, born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on January 13, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Wright Gibson; and his children, Ed Gibson (Mary), Neal Gibson (Laura) and LeeAnn Lineberry (Larry).

Memorial contributions may be sent to American Legion Post 16.
