She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell M. Frye and Nellie Burnett Frye; her husband Sidney C. Alexander; her son John Daniel "Danny" Alexander; her siblings, Russell "Bubba" Frye, Jr., Mildred Fansler and Judy Kay True; her granddaughter Katy Alexander; and her son-in-law Jimmy Dillard.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Dillard of King William and Tangie Motley (Darryl) of Amherst; and her grandchildren, Hunter, Rita, Daniel Alexander, Angela Rook, Travis Dillard, Paul and Alex Motley. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
