We are sad to announce that on May 26, 2022, at the age of 81, Rubin Carl Hartless of Amherst, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie R. Hartless and Easter T. Hartless; and his siblings, Ray Hartless, Roy L. Hartless and Linda H. Nuckols.

He is survived by: his wife Thelma B. Hartless; his son Lewis C. Hartless (Kelly); his grandchildren, Abigail L. Hartless and Samuel L. Hartless; and his sister Nancy H. Whittaker. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
