He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy N. Banks, Sr. and Madeline Watkins Banks; and his siblings, Thelma B. Jordan, Lillie B. Jefferson, Erma B. Cashwell, Roy N. Banks, Jr., Roger Banks, Charles E. Banks and Donelle Banks.
He is survived by: his sister Mary B. McDaniel (Eddie) of Amherst, VA; his children, Ronnie Turner (Tara), Robert Turner (Trinita) and Tina Harris; his grandchild Brooke N. Harris of Amherst, VA; his close friends, Wanda Wilson and Naidra Wilson; his grandchildren, Rondale Turner (Yosheco), Unequa Turner of Georgia, Roderick Richerson (Rebecca), Nyema of Madison Heights, JaNasia Rose, Ayara, Yaraya Turner and Tsunade Richerson; his niece Brenda Meredith; his nephews, Tyrone Jordan, Phillip Banks and Quincy Jones; and his aunt Shirley R. Green of Stone Mountain.
