It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Wright Jones of Amherst, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George M. Wright and Louise Campbell Wright. She is survived by: her husband William Rowland Jones Jr.; her children, Dawne Haag (E. Keller) of Amherst, Dr. William R Jones III of Lyndhurst and Virginia; her grandchildren, Morgan, Kelsey Haag (Will), Anna and William Jones IV; her great grandchild Kenna Hamlett; and her sister Eleanor McCormick of Georgetown, KY..
