It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyliss Lawhorne Auman of Amherst, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Lawhorne and Maybelle Lawhorne; and her husband David Auman. She is survived by: her sisters, Edna Mae Cash, Mary Alice Martin (Steve Martin) and Elsie Lawhorne Diane (Kenny Hawkins). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Wesleyan Church, P.O. Box 757, Amherst VA 24521.
