He was predeceased by: his parents, Smather Davis and Eleanor Davis of Amherst County, VA.; and his brother Ray H. Davis. He is survived by: his spouse Wilmalea Ratliff (Wilma); his sons, Michael Davis (Donna) and Brian E. Davis; his grandchildren, Philip B. Davis (Dylan), Zachary B. Davis (Becca) of Alaska, Taylor E. Wilder (Joshua) and Tucker C. Davis; his great grandchildren, Charlotte A Davis (Charlee), Penelope J. Wilder and Nikoila A. Wilder; his goddaughter Cary A. Justice; and his sister Dorothy D. Payne.
Mr. Davis donated his body to the Anatomical Gift Program. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sentara RMH Hahn Cancer Center, 2010 Health Campus Drive, Harrisonburg, VA 22801, or to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 468, Harrisonburg, VA 22803, with Brent Berry Food Drive in the memo.
