It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Percy Edward Gunter (Amherst, Virginia), born in Buckingham, Virginia, who passed away on March 31, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Clarence Gunter and Cora Louise Dooley Gunter; and his son-in-law Robert Morris, III. He is survived by: his wife Judith Duff Gunter; his children, Gwen Parr (Greg), Michael Gunter (Kelley) and Penelope Morris McAllister (Duane); his grandchildren, Kendall Parr (Beth), Brittani Parr, Morgan Gunter, Maggie Gunter, Seth Morris (Haley), Elaine Morris, Caleb Morris (Sarah), Heath Morris (Holly), Lucas McAllister and Lane McAllister; his sisters, Irene Farthing, Margaret Ogden and Sadie Campbell (Thomas); his sisters-in-law, Kitty Gunter and Gracie Gunter; and his pet Molly Ann Gunter. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
