It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Gray Massie (Amherst, Virginia), who passed away on July 13, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel B. Massie and Stella H. Massie; his wife Carrie S Turner Massie; his sister Polly Fix; and his daughter-in-law Marie Debrell Massie.

He is survived by: his sons, Michael Gray Massie, Kenneth N. Massie (Pat) and Tommy Massie; and his siblings, Dallas Massie, Alvin Massie, Ocie Jones (Henry), Jean Weigand (Leo) and Stella Harlow. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
