He was predeceased by: his brothers, Aubrey Thomas (Laura), Lowell E. Thomas, Sr. (Beth) and Harvey A. Thomas (Alice). He is survived by: his wife Jean Campbell Thomas; his son Robert Hampton Thomas (Noel Snow Thomas) of Lynchburg; and his grandchildren, Mark Hampton Thomas of Arlington and Sarah Elizabeth Thomas of Denver.
