He was predeceased by: his father Ernest Richard Coley; and his grandparents, Russell, Bernice Boaze White, Sr., James and Janice Ogden Coley.

He is survived by: his mother Christine White Coley; his wife Gertie "Sissy" Coley; his sons, Russell Wade Coley (Melanie) and Travis Keith Coley; his grandsons, Johnathan Wade and Parker Wayne Coley; his brother Gary Richard Coley; his nephews, Brett, Landon, Logan, Sean and Codey; and his niece Keeleigh.
