He is survived by: his spouse Mary Franklin Beverly; his parents, Henry Beverly and Mamie Banks Beverly; his children, Neisy Jones of Lynchburg, Rudy Jones (Elayne) of Roanoke and Paddy Jones (Gloria) of Washington, D. C.; his grandchildren, Diondra Jones, Jarriett "Jay" Kiser, James "Jay" Jones, Jonathan Jones, Jade Lane and Elyse McFalls; his great grandchild Noah Jones; his siblings, David Beverly of Amherst, Margeret Beverly of Massachusetts, Maxine Harris of Ohio and Hattie Crews of Lynchburg; his siblings-in-law, Gorden Franklin, Price Franklin, Fannie Groom and Diane Beverly; his daughter-in-law Dionne Warrick Jones; his niece Kathy Henderson; and his son Ron, Jr.. He is also survived by other nephews, nieces, cousins and other family and friends.
