It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Johns (Amherst, Virginia), who passed away on March 7, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Johns and Virgie Johns; his grandson Christopher Woolf; and his siblings, Howard Johns, Betty Branham, Rennie Johns and Douglas Johns.

He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Johns, Jr. (Paula) of Douglas, GA and Ellis Tyree (Christian) of Hurt; and his sisters-in-law, Vivian Huffman (Billy), Carolyn Wooten (Mike) and Elgie Harvey (David).
