He is survived by: his children, James L. Tinsley Jr. (Rojina) of Columbia, Belinda T. Gaines (Fletcher W.) of Amherst, Gloria T. Witt (Leroy) of Madison Heights, Raamonda T. Massie (Vincent) of Upper Marlboro and Jerina L. Tinsley (Timothy Myers) of Bowie; his aunt Evelyn Sandidge (late Moses); his sisters, Minnie Mitchell (late William) and Sarah Norris (Eugene) of Amherst; his siblings-in-law, Gladine Tinsley, Mamie Tinsley, Susie Tinsley of Madison Heights, Shirley Richardson of Washington, D. C. and Floyd Benson of Madison Heights; his friend Margie S. Blakey; and also Jackie Tinsley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
