We are sad to announce that on April 25, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Hazel Shifflett Marshall of Amherst, Virginia, born in Dyke, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manis Shifflett and Pauline Morris Shifflett; her husband Rev. Randall "Jack" Tavner Marshall; and her siblings, Linwood Shifflett, Curtis Shifflett, Agnes Shifflett Morris and Elizabeth Shifflet Crizer.
She is survived by: her aunt Pearl Shifflett; and her children, Pamela M. Pack of Palmyra Va, Randall "Randy" T. Marshall Jr. (Amanda) of Lakeland, Fla. and Dawn M. Thomas (Harold) of Amherst. She is also survived by three grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; and multiple nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that memorial contributions be made to Mission: Dignity, an organization within Guidestone Financial Recourses, that supports Baptist ministers and their widows with finical assistance in times of need, at 5005 LBJ Freeway, Ste. 2200, Dallas, TX 75244-6152.
