It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emma (Troyer) Sommers (Amherst, Virginia), born in Sugarcreek, Ohio, who passed away on June 24, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Troyer and Katie Troyer; her siblings, Menno Troyer, Melvin Troyer and Alma Beachy; and her son-in-law David Horner.
She is survived by: her husband Allen Sommers; her children, Samuel Sommers (Suzanne), Jason Sommers (Miriam), Sarai Horst (James), Joanna Horner and Lois Heatwole (Wesley); her siblings, Mattie Schlabach, Malinda Mast (Roy), Laura Hershberger (Jacob) and Lester Troyer, Jr. (Katie); and her brother-in-law Monroe Beachy. She is also survived by thirty-one grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren.
