He is survived by: his children, Edward "Scott" Burford, Jr. (Leslie), Bryan Burford (Lara) and Christina Burford Dale (Thomas); his stepchildren, Patricia Thomas, Kathleen Harvey and Clifford Wilson, Jr.; his grandchildren, Sydney Rice, Jacob Brooks, Tyler, Layla, Grayson and Elyse Burford; his stepgrandchildren, James Wilson, Vanessa Harvey, Taylor Emerson, James Emerson and Bethany Thomas; his great grandchildren, Madilyn, Aalaya and Cannon; his sisters, Aileen Young, Geraldine McConnell and Rachel Burford Tomlin; his nephew Glenn Dameron Burford; his spouse Shelby Comer; and his grandchildren, Bryan, Christina and Ferry Farm.
