He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Moore and Alberta Starks Moore; his son Edwin D. Moore; his daughter-in-law Donna Moore; and his siblings, Samuel C. Moore, Maurice L. Moore, Robert L. Moore, Franklin D. Moore, Chester G. Moore and Barbara L. Donigan.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva A. Moore; his son Anthony Q. Moore of Amherst; his great grandchild Erik Thomas of Raleigh, NC; his son Dionte Thomas of Concord; his daughter-in-law Crystal Rosson (Shane); his grandchildren, Sydney Cook and Zoe Rosson of Madison Heights; his sister Jacqueline Jordan of Beltsville, MD; and his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Hutcherson of Madison Heights, Shirly Christian of Madison Heights, Alice West of Madison Heights and Ethel Moore of Greenville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
