We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2020, at the age of 66, Eddie Eugene Henson Jr. of Amherst, Virginia, born in Lynchburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Eugene Henson, Sr. and Josephine "Doris" Stinson Henson; his siblings, Delia "Sissy" Henson, George Henson and Bobby Henson; and his great grandchild Noah Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Lee Henson; his children, Bradley Henson (Jamie) of Amherst and Melissa Powell of Lynchburg; his brothers, Amon Henson (Laura) of Madison Heights, Bruce Henson (Tammy) of Lynchburg and William Henson (Becky) of Amherst; his grandchildren, Presley Henson, Kayla Wright (T. J.), Blake Stinnett and Ashlee Stinnett; and his great grandchild Amelia Wright. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the family will greet family and friends curbside from 2-4 p. m., Sunday, August 30, 2020, at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Amherst County, because of his love for his animals.
