She was predeceased by: her husband John Gray Wilmore; her parents, J. C. Hayes and Frieda Swaim Hayes; and her siblings, Hubert Hayes, Dwight Hayes, Lillian Thomas, Lois Shore, Louise Long and Geraldine Ingram.

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen McKinney of Canton, GA, Pamela M. Shackelford of Madison Heights and Cheryl Allen of Madison Heights; her brothers, Wayne Hayes (Kay) of Booneville, NC and Alton Hayes of Jonesville, NC; her grandson Adam Shackelford (Whitney); her great grandchildren, Jocelyn Shackelford, Presleigh Shackelford and Noah Shackelford; and her close friend Will Henderson of Meals. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, for one hour, prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
