It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Higginbotham (Amherst, Virginia), who passed away on March 25, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas L.; and his grandparents, Joseph L. and Annie K. Higginbotham. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Clarkson Higginbotham; his daughter Tammy H. Pandolf; his granddaughters, Ashley and Jennifer Pandolf; and his brother Nathan Higginbotham (Sue).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Higginbotham Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, c/o Jay Higginbotham, P.O. Box156, Altavista, VA 24517 or Clifford Baptist Church.

We had just recently discussed coming to amherst to visit with you and dale and to check on our cabin, but felt it best to delay the visit until after the virus situation cleared up. You and dale are among the finest friends that it has been our extreme good fortune to have known and dale's presence will be sorely missed by all those fortunate persons whose lives he touched.
